The collection combines the classic Roots aesthetic inspired by Algonquin Park and the art of artist, outdoorsman and Canadian legend Tom Thomson.

Tom Thomson (1877-1917) is considered one of the most important and influential early Canadian artists. Together with members of the Group of Seven, he created a new style of painting to portray rugged Canadian landscapes. Tom Thomson died in July of 1917, when his body was found floating in Canoe Lake.
